Best for: smaller jobs under your payment threshold
For smaller, lower-risk jobs, keep it simple. Do the work, upload proof, send the invoice, and mark it paid when the money lands.
Path 2
Protected Payment Upfront
Best for: larger jobs where you don't want to carry risk
For higher-value jobs, the payment is secured before the job begins. You are not relying on promises, awkward follow-ups, or hoping the client pays later.

Deposit + Final Balance
Best for: jobs where you want commitment before starting
Use a deposit to lock in the client and cover initial risk, then send the balance once the job is completed and proof has been uploaded.
Default: 50% deposit / 50% final balance
Flexible: Deposit % can be changed per job
Works with: Direct payment or protected payment
